¶ … co-workers for the past two years, I would like to introduce myself to you in my new position. My name is ____ and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you in my new position of Operator Services Manager. The team work, dedication, and professionalism demonstrated on a continual basis by employees within this department is impressive, and these qualities will set the department in motion towards great accomplishments to come.
The past two years has seen the beginning of promising improvements within Operator Services. Through training and evaluation initiatives implemented by Ms. Smith, the former Operator Services Manager, productivity within the department increased by 25%. This increase in productivity led to increased retention of existing clients. In my role I plan on continuing along this path of progress and improvement that we as a team have embarked upon. I am proposing "Project Strive," which will entail increased training and assessments for employees as well as customer service measures for clients. This project will be implemented with the goal of increased retention of existing customers and continual growth of the ConnecTel client base.
Execution of Changes
There are 3 key changes that are integral to the success of "Project Strive"
Compulsory completion of training modules by all employees. The facilitation of this education initiative will be conducted by a newly hired Learning Services Manager,.
Regular assessment of productivity and skills of employees through testing procedures.
Administration of a customer service survey to existing clients. This will focus on possible areas that can be improved upon in order to retain and increase our client base.
Prospective Results
With increased knowledge, communication, and morale among all Operator Services, I am setting the following productivity goals:
This chart indicates that with "Project Strive," I am expecting that hard work and diligence will result in dramatic increases in productivity within the department over the next 3 years.
Incentives
Your continual and extensive efforts in working as a team to improve productivity within this department is greatly appreciated. Therefore, as a demonstration of the company's appreciation for your hard work, individuals demonstrating the highest levels of productivity and the greatest improvements will be rewarded with cash bonuses. Also, 6% of increased revenues due to retention and increases in the client base will be distributed between employees within the department on an annual basis.
