Chernobyl Forum Research Paper

Chernobyl forum refers to an assembly of organizations that was formed in 2003 on 3-5 February in Vienna, which is the headquarters of international Atomic Energy Agency. It was founded so as assess and to give reports concerning the environmental and health consequences of Chernobyl (Clark, 2006). Organizations involved in the Chernobyl Forum

There are various organizations that came in to give hand after the Chernobyl accident occurred. Their aim was to fully get over the stigma that was brought by the tragedy. Though there are several organizations that came in we will concentrate on two only.

This organization works very closely with International Chernobyl Research and Information Network (Chykin, 2007). It concentrates on rehabilitation of the areas that were affected during the accident and upgrading public...

At the same time UNICEF emphasizes on human development. The organization also concentrates on other functions like ensuring a resourceful system for preventing diseases that come up as a result of iodine deficiency.
UNICEF always has got an internal preparedness and a plan to respond to problems once they occur. When there is a case of emergency such as floods or earthquakes this organization comes in immediately to help. The common means in which this organization responds to emergencies is giving help to diverse departments of country program.
