Strategic planning is going to be a key aspect in the incipient phases of the organization planning process, taking into account that it presents individuals involved with the opportunity to gain a more complex understanding of the mission as a whole. The SWOT analysis will occur at this point, considering that this can provide the company with important information regarding goals and strategies they need to adopt in order to reach them.
Climate surveys would involve observing how the industry functions and reaching out to bodies that are experienced in assisting companies as they grow. Considering that employees and customers are likely to have little to no information regarding expansion at this point, consultants would also help with making it possible for management to effectively deal with the change process. Managers can then get actively involved in efficiently responding to issues that might arise as a consequence of other stakeholders not being sufficiently prepared to accept the restructuring process.
