Attaining An MBA Will Allow Application Essay

Of course, I have repeatedly found myself in positions of leadership throughout my career and personal life. I am comfortable in these positions, and those around me are often willing to place their trust in my decision making capabilities. Regardless of the mode by which power is bestowed, leadership, in all situations tends to follow distinctive patterns: it occurs as an event, it involves the relationship between the leaders and followers, it reaches beyond formal authority, it develops in times of need, it requires individual perception, and it requires application of that perception. While this, in itself, will be greatly rewarding and beneficial, I also hope that the managerial position an MBA will allow me to attain will also provide me with several years of invaluable experience towards achieving my additional goal; namely, I plan to eventually open my own business. I recognize the long-term complexities of such a dream, but I also recognize that an MBA is the next major step on this road to personal success. So, in the end, I hope that my education will be able to combine with my experience and natural skills to make me a successful and happy individual in my career.
