2. The status of "Your computer is protected." Should be displayed. If it is not, take the listed actions on screen to turn on protection. Select the "Live Update" button on the left-side of the screen.

3. Live Update will run and update virus definitions. When complete select "Close."

Analysis of Results:

Ensuring anti-virus definitions are up-to-date using Live Update ensures that the most recent virus threats are protected against when scans are run. Since Live Update was run the computer is safer against attacks and information on the computer and transmitted when on the internet is safer.
