Ambition has always been a trait of mine. Through admission and completion of a Masters of Business Administration program, I can apply my ambition to my desire to continue my education and academic pursuits. I am particularly interested in MBA programs abroad. The professional landscape is increasingly more international and global. Advanced degrees are assets to those who acquire them as well as to the companies for whom those people work. If I earn my MBA abroad, I will spread my company's global reputation and represent...

Continuing my education is a very important goal that I intend to achieve. The MBA degree specifically is a dream of mine to acquire. My Bachelor's degree is in Finance and Supply Chain Management. I attained this degree from the University of Houston in 2007, graduating with a 3.56 grade point average and graduating with several university honors over the course of my time there. In 2011, I joined a company where I could apply the knowledge and skills directly from my degree to my career -- I joined Dow's Chemicals. Before I landed a position with Dow, a real estate company employed me and my assignment was in the investment division. This was a great position for me as I am greatly interested and passionate about investments. My passion and this great work environment made for superb conditions for me to acquire a wealth of knowledge. I was an employee of this real estate firm part time during and after my experience as an undergraduate. My work experience and my academic experience primed me for my work at Dow.

As a result of my position at Dow, I have also become involved in the Treasury organization of Sadara, Saudi Aramco's joint venture with Dow Chemicals. In the treasury organization, my immediate superior is Steve, the Treasurer. Working as a part of this start-up has been yet another valuable learning experience. Not only has Sadara grown in the past year, but also so have I. As a result of my work, I have gained exposure to a broad range of financial issues and financial functions including cash management, investments, loan management, risk management, credit management, and payment processing. Moreover, I have gained experience with administration, documentation, and compliance.

Recently, I was one of a few non-Finance people privileged with the opportunity to attend the Finance Boot Camp. From the boot camp, I discovered that Dow's Finance organization offers numerous challenges as well as numerous learning opportunities. I see clearly from my academic background and professional experiences that a MBA would only avail me further to the opportunities that my dreams are made of.
