The forced choice rating come with some advantages for instance they are easy to enter, relatively easy to analyze, easy to present, there is quick turnaround, they are more reliable, the research bias is reduced and there is also high degree of anonymity. However, it also comes with some disadvantages for instance the questions are harder to construct as well as the response category, they may force invalid responses, there is less depth and substance in such answers. Here, the respondents are not able to clarify their answers or what they mean.

The above constructed survey tool seeking to know the attitude towards the state-wide assessment was a strong survey tool since it focused on the details surrounding the views of the teacher towards the assessment. It covered both the side of the teacher and the side of the students and the general public hence was well balanced. The challenge that this survey tool faces is that it is more of the researcher speaking and the respondent just has to pick from the expressions of the researcher and has no room to input their independent thoughts into the survey. The survey tool is also limited in terms of the full understanding of the reason behind the attitude that may come forth from the results.
