search I intended to use various keyword searches in order to find the relevant literature regarding how lifestyle modification compared to no modification in liver transplant patients, with a view to the impact on quality of life over 4 months post-operation. I was utilizing an intervention PICO and the reviews that I deemed relevant were systematic, reviews with meta-analysis of randomized control trials, case control studies, qualitative studies, and articles in which expert opinion was pronounced. Thus the purpose of these searches was to find literature which represented the extent of academic work on the subject in recent years.

The PICO searches were generated using combinations of "post liver transplant patient" and "life style modification" and "quality of life" and various combinations with results being works such as Masala et al. (2012) study entitled "Quality of life and physical activity in liver transplantation patients: results of a case-control study in Italy." This article was helpful in pointing the way to other articles as it also contained key words that would later be used to generate further results in the search engines and databases mentioned above.
