Strategy to Improve the Performance of Jacobi Hospital / Implementation Plan for Jacobi Hospital
Potential Short- and Long-Term Financial Impact of HCAHPS Scores on Jacobi Hospital
Solid finances in the current period as well as progress and viability are seen as some of the objectives of most organizations. It is in the best interests of patients to have good management in hospitals as indicated by the relationship between hospital performance and management scores. The HCAHPS scores may not seem to have an effect on the hospital in the short-term and mid-term. However, in the long run, negative effects may be felt in terms of bad image and loss of customers. Where the scores are low time after time, patients may look for other hospitals, which are clean, well maintained and the patients are treated well. This would impact the hospital's finances negatively, in the long-term. HCAHPS, therefore, affect both short-term and long-term…...

Nurse Implementation Plan
Implementation Plan
It is important to understand that plans do not simply manifest themselves into existence and a specific implementation effort is needed to ensure that the evidence presented in research efforts can be used to practical ends. Although the solution appears to be clear and succinct, putting into this plan into action requires a plan of its own. To do this effectively, Lewin's model of change theory can assist in describing "how" this plan will be put into action and significantly complement "what" needs to be done in order to realize success.
The plan itself is simple and revolves around and addresses Lewin's trinity of components in his change Model. Lewin essentially proposed that change occurs in three distinct stages where an old idea is "unfrozen," then processed and eventually "refrozen." This simple model of understanding the mental processes apply both at a collective level and an individual level…...

Emeritus Strategic Plan
Strategic Implementation Plan at Emeritus Senior Living
In one regard, the senior assisted living community sector is one of the most stable and fastest growing industries in an otherwise stagnant domestic marketplace. This is to the advantage of the firm that has been at the center of our research discussions to this juncture. But for Emeritus Senior Living firm, this advantage is today being offset by a number of internal performance patterns that must be addressed. Indeed, the model for growth at Emeritus has to this point been extraordinarily successful from a sheer economic standpoint. According to Emeritus (EMS), "at the end of 2000, Emeritus was a small senior living company with an operating portfolio of 135 communities and a capacity for 14,100 residents. Ten years later (December 31, 2010), we are one of the largest operators of senior living facilities in the country with an operating portfolio of…...

Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory Implementation Plan
Introduction and Business strategies
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory continully receives increasing competition in the information services industry. To reinstate the effectiveness and generate consumer satisfaction, as well as company presence in the market, a proactive strategy must be formed to increase functionality and service, as well as generate a wider consumer base, all while minimizing overhead and operational cost. Along with this aim, an implementation plan must be executed. The plan will consist of a five-step problem-solving model. This model will identify and address concerns, while establishing a process of improvement for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and create increases in the company's wireless service efficacy. "The 5-Step model is a process to; categorize the situation, label and frame the central issue, articulate final goals, possible alternatives, and evaluate those alternatives" (Kundra, United States, & Chief Information Officers Council (U.S.),2010, p. 12)
The model as mentioned, involves five…...

Implementation of the Plan
The implementation program will focus on the five crucial aspects that will run concurrently: provision of funds, educational programs, development of Voluntary Counseling and Testing centers, availability of ARV drugs, and awareness campaigns (Kartikeyan p. 388). In the achievement of the goals and objectives of the implementation plan, it is ideal to have the financial resources. This implementation plan seeks to increase the size of the healthcare budget by the government towards the course of HIV and AIDS elimination. These financial resources will be crucial towards the execution of other components of the implementation plan such educational programs and campaigns, training of the personnel to offer VCT services, and other relevant services. It is, therefore, ideal to increase the size of the healthcare budget by setting aside about $1.5 billion towards this course. NGOs and IGOs will also chip in towards the contribution of the financial resources…...

If this amount increases, you must be able to ensure that you have the ability to handle the larger amounts of traffic (otherwise the server could crash). Then, you must ensure that there are various electronic blackboards and instant messaging available. These different tools are important because they would allow the faculty to present a more in depth discussion of the subject matter, using a number of examples. Once this takes place, it means that the overall exposure to various materials will increase. The more that this occurs during the class; the greater amounts of learning comprehension that will take place. (Homes, 2006)

Walmart Inc.: Social Media Solutions Implementation Plan
Social Media Solutions Implementation Plan: Walmart Inc.
Walmart, the world's largest retailer, faces a number of productivity issues that if not resolved could affect the company's ability to compete in future. Two of these have to do with worker relations and failure to adjust the company's business model to reflect customers' needs. This text presents a plan detailing how social media technologies could be used to resolve these issues.

Patient Electronic Access
The objective of this study is to investigate the application of the electronic health record at the inner City health hospital. The goal of implementing the program is to allow patients to have easy access to their health data and information to assist them sharing their health information with other healthcare and personal care providers. This study investigates the application of Measure 1 Stage 1 for the City Health organization. Following the benefits of the electronic health records, the City Health has decided to implement the new program. The program will allow patients to access their information on demand through PH (personal health record). However, the City Hospital will be able to derive benefits from the program by setting aside $170,000 for the implementation costs and $90,500 maintenance expenses. Moreover, the City Hospital should organize a training program for the staff to make the program be successful.

Valley Wide Utilities Company experiences financial inadequacies emanating from the expansion of its facilities. Delgado, the President of the company, hired John Givens and Hilda Hirsh to hand out an extensive outline of management by objectives (MBO) performance standards, pinpointing major standards that control performance as well as separate goals not easily achieved. Management by objectives (MBO) is an approach employed by organizations to set goals and aims. In delineation, an MBO is a procedure whereby the superior and subservient managers of an organization mutually and cooperatively ascertain its common goals, outline every person's key areas of accountability in terms of outcomes expected, and utilize these measures as guiding principles for running the unit and appraising the involvement of every participant (Carmen, 2014). However, in the course of the past year, issues with performance management have been sprouting and discontent developing. The managers have been keen to point out that…...

Diabetes is one of the most critical health crises of our time. The incidence of diabetes continues to increase, and this disease has significant negative health outcomes. However, there are things that can be done within the clinical setting order to better manage diabetes, and that is what will be recommended in this report. The report recommends that a special diabetes task force is set up within the hospital, as a means of not only finding better solutions to this health problem, but also to manage the health of patients with this disease in a more effective manner, one that will help attract new business to the hospital.

EHR System
Implementation Process of the EHR Change
In recent time, electronic health records (EHRs) have been carried out by a progressively greater number of hospitals across the globe. At the present moment, the small rural hospital will largely benefit from the implementation of EHRs. The following are the steps that could be undertaken in the implementation process of EHR for the hospital:
1. The first phase would encompass delineating all of the tasks and practices necessitated to be carried out by the physicians, IT staff, as well as practice managers. The fundamental tasks in this phase comprise of scheduling the implementation, patients and practice data migration, formation of a training program and delineating critical success factors and assessment strategies.
2. The implementation committee is thereafter selected. This includes project manager, application analyst and developer, physician advocate, nursing advocate, billing advocate, training managers.
3. Different departments will be involved in this implementation. To begin with,…...
Hourly nursing rounding is regarded as one of the most suitable means for enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes. This process can be described as a proactive, systematic nurse-centered evidence-based intervention to predict and deal with the various needs in hospitalized patients. There is sufficient evidence to demonstrate that effective hourly nursing rounding can enhance patient safety, promote team communication, and enhance the capability of staff to offer efficient patient care. Therefore, this approach would be a suitable method to help reduce falls, prevent ulcers, and call light use and result in enhanced patient satisfaction through evidence-based practices. The adoption of this method in the organization to improve patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes would require the development of a comprehensive implementation plan and participation from all key stakeholders.
Method of Obtaining Necessary Approval
