But these changes, materialized in increased sales and consequently revenues, improved quality of the products and services offered as well as the technologies used in the manufacturing process have supported the development of the corporation. From a financial point-of-view, they created the image of a strong and reliable company. With American Telephone and Telegraph Company (AT&T) becoming incorporated in 1885, this New York-based subsidiary of the American Bell Telephone Company embarked upon a mission to provide networking as its core service (2011). Shortly after the invention of the phone, AT&T built its network from New York to various eastern seaboard cities, with its major milestone in Chicago, which marked the longest line possible with existing technology. In 1899, AT&T acquired the assets of its parent company, and it soon became known as the Bell Telephone System that primarily served long distance lines and telegraph service. financial health of an organization is what is most important in the case of a joint venture assessment. This may be short-term solvability (liquidity), long-term debt situation or efficiency in using the assets. As such, an important question that the investor needs to ask himself first of all is what will be the goal of the joint venture. Accordingly, he may assess which is more important.
In my opinion, the first and most important financial ratios that give us the best idea of the company's financial health are the liquidity ratios. Indeed, these give us the best clue on the company's short-term financial health. Financial analysis is a tool that allows third parties to analyze corporate financial statements. One of the main reasons that the Securities and Exchange Commission requires that statements are compiled and presented in a consistent manner is to ensure that third parties will be able to use the statements to compare different companies. These comparisons can, among other things, help with investment decisions. This paper will compare PepsiCo and Coca-Cola Company, the two leading soft drink marketers in the world. All forms of industries deemed financial management as expressive in origin till the 1960's. Its basic and sole role was to ensure financing for completing the business's operatives and functions. The department for business planning or marketing would project a net total for meeting the services and meeting daily demands; managers would calculate the assets required to complete a given project needed, equipment's, supplies and building.
