Business Organization Coursework:
Mary and Joseph, stakeholders in Kings plc, are concerned about the company's management practices by its current directors. One of these recent practices includes the desire by these directors of Kings plc, which owned a hotel, to acquire two additional hotels. As a result, these directors created a subsidiary company for the sole purpose of acquiring the two hotels. In this new development, Kings plc could only acquire few shares of the new subsidiary whereas the directors and the company solicitor purchased the majority of the new subsidiary's shares. Therefore, the new subsidiary was eventually sold and the directors made significant profits. However, the shareholders of Kings plc i.e. Mary and Joseph want to know whether the directors were legally entitled to carry out such practices. These shareholders are specifically concerned with the legality of the directors' actions and the relevant legal sanctions against the directors, which should…...

In the modern business environment, communications policies also pertains to electronic transfer and storage of business information and correspondence. Likewise, communication policies dictate the rules differentiating permissible and impermissible uses of communications equipment for personal use as well as the privacy rights (if any) permitted employees on company time and equipment. Finally, communications policies also outline the expected protocols for business communications between co-workers, particularly with respect to the expected supervisory functions (ussell-Whalling 2008).
In my current company, the organizational culture permits "reasonable" personal use of company equipment and time, provided it does not amount to more than a nominal expense or compromise any aspect of efficient business operations. The privacy rights of employees to personal information disclosed or stored on company equipment is nonexistent and explicit acceptance of that policy is ensured through the computer log-in system that requires daily confirmation in the log-on process.

Some of the unique cultural aspects of the business at hand are the value placed on flexibility, family and employee independence. All of these cultural values are heavily focused on the people factor. Any changes to these values will have to take into account the effect it will have on the employee's moral and thus productivity. Many of our employees are successful because their values are in line with the business' values and therefore there is no "culture shock" so to say. In order to prevent any changes from alientating the company's strong employee base, any changes to these three values should be slight. For example, one recommendation would be to focuse on changing one aspect while strengthening the other two. In terms of changing the dispersion of the employees, employees could be required to work on site for a specific number of days per week or month....
In this context, the learning curves followed by the collective of entrepreneurs place that collective of entrepreneurs within the still larger setting of the global marketplace. Taylor and Asheim refer to an economic geography that is more than merely a map of where economic activities take place (Taylor & Asheim, 2001, p. 315). A modern learning organization integrates itself on virtually every conceivable level. Much as its individual members make use consciously and unconsciously of a variety of learning techniques in order to work together as a unit, so too do all of their learning paradigms combine to make them a single, effective player on a larger global stage.
Taylor and Asheim encourage firms to immerse themselves in the concept of economic geography, to complete, as it were, the learning curve, by employing their cognitive abilities vis-a-vis the global marketplace, and so use that marketplace as a source for policies and…...

Business Security Protection
In any business organization security of the organization is one of the most important factors. There are many different areas where security must be assessed. Some of the ways in which an organization must assess their security are: loss prevention, crime prevention, asset protection, security management, and risk management. In this paper I will discuss the importance of each of these security issues starting with the least important to the most important in the business environment.
Loss Prevention
Loss prevention is an important part of any organization. The business must protect the merchandise from theft. There are many different loss prevention plans and strategies that exist. Creating a plan for emergencies is important, plan for extreme weather conditions, unforeseen employee situations, and theft. Organizational studies benefits from interaction with other areas of study. The articles and research questions in the paper reflect a curiosity of the connection among media, technology, and behavior. Each article and set of authors approaches this question from a different perspective and in conjunction with another school of thought to help problem solve and with which to cooperate. The paper selects and uses three heuristics as way to explore research questions and hypotheses further and better. The paper substantiates the validity of the proposed research question. The paper also describes the context within which the proposed research would fit.

Abstract:
We argue that because of the important epistemological differences between the fields of information technology and organization studies, much can be gained from greater interaction between them. In particular, we argue that information technology research can benefit from incorporation institutional analysis from organization studies, while organization studies can benefit even more by following the lead of information technology research in taking the material properties of technologies into account. We further suggest that the transformations currently occurring in the nature of work and organizing cannot be understood without considering both the technological changes and the institutional contexts that are reshaping economic and organizational activity. Thus, greater interaction between field of information technology and organization studies should be viewed as more than a matter of enrichment. In the intellectual engagement of these two fields lies the potential for an important fusion of perspectives, a fusion more carefully attuned to explaining the nature consequences of the techno-social phenomena that increasingly pervade our lives.

Business Organisations Environments Exist
Business Organizations Environments
Organisations have changed their normal horizon of working and they have transformed their general perspective to work. In the current era strategies have been transformed and effectiveness prevails in the international business arena. This paper would solely focus on the aspects of internal and external environments within the organisation and how these environments affect the general procedures of an organisation in the longer run. The evaluation of this paper is based on several questions and these questions are answered below in detail.
Internal pressures in an organisation and quite critical and complex. At times they can change the entire scenario of a worker and they have the tendency to either bring laurels for the company or they can also tarnish the career of an individual. That is the reason why all these aspects should be kept in mind when an individual is working on all…...

Environmental Concern on Green Products Purchase: Empirical Study of German etailers
Evaluation of results
The analysis exhibits various results about the perceptions of German consumers with reference to green products. The findings have been able to achieve the research objectives and test the hypothesis based on the demographic characteristics of the sample population. The results reveal that all the sample population is well educated with 84% of participants have completed the graduate programs. Thus, the participant has advanced knowledge of health benefits of green products. They also have knowledge about the impact of conventional products on the environment, which influences consumer buying decisions of sustainable products. Larsson, & Arif Khan (2011) argue that green awareness motivates consumer's choice of pursuing the green criteria, and consumer's choice of product is also influenced by earlier purchases experience. When informed consumers decide to purchase sustainable products, they search for both primary and secondary information…...

authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of a business organization?
Corporations and Limited liability Companies (LLCs) are recognized as legal entities in their own right, this means they have their legal identity, and can enter intro contracts in their own right. However, while the corporation has its own identity, it is still reliant on officers or agents of the company make agreements on its behalf. This paper examines how may be determined who can enter into contracts on behalf of a business organisation, why those people can undertake that task, and how it should be documented.
In general terms, an individual should be authorised by a company before signing contracts on behalf of the company. The authorisation regarding who this will cover should be addressed within the bylaws of the company, the resolutions of the board of directors (Schultz, 2010). Where authorisations are laid down in the bylaws, altering those…...

Deceptive Marketing
Unethical Practices in Marketing: Deceptive Marketing
Business ethics requires that business organizations should act in a manner that is morally and ethically upright. One of the areas where ethical behavior is crucial is marketing. Marketing is one of the major functions within an organization. It is basically concerned with communicating and reaching out to customers in an attempt to promote products, services, and/or brands. Nonetheless, unethical behavior in marketing is not a rare phenomenon. There are often instances of misleading or deceptive advertising, exaggerated claims, using fear tactics, spamming, exploitation, and other practices that fit the unethical tag. If not addressed, these practices can in the long run affect an organization's reputation. Deceptive marketing is one of the common forms of unethical behavior within the marketing realm. This paper discusses this practice. Following a definition of deceptive marketing, the paper pays attention to regulations for deceptive marketing and real-world cases…...

Business Management
Discuss specific challenges that managers face in each of the following industries that were less important five years ago.
An important challenge in the apparel industry today was also present five years ago but has become increasingly important in the interim (and looks to become increasingly important still in the years to come) is that of the difficulty that American businesses have in competing with companies overseas. This is arguably true in all fields but is especially so in those fields in which there is a high need for long hours of relatively unskilled labor.
Making clothes is a very labor-intensive process and all such industries (in both heavy and light manufacturing) are experiencing problems in today's marketplace. The decision this month of Levi Strauss to close its last American plant and to have all of its garments produced overseas is emblematic of the fact that it may simply no longer…...

ethical issues for business organizations in the twenty-first century. The forces of globalization have increased the degree to which diverse groups in society have grown dependent on one another. Hence, their expectations influence the freedoms and responsibilities of other groups. The expectations of various stakeholders have placed greater responsibilities on business organizations to be ethical in their communication with their stakeholders. Business organizations are under growing pressure to be ethical in their employment practices and in the sourcing of raw materials and labour for their operations. In addition, they are expected to recognize their responsibility towards the economic and social development of the communities where they operate and those that they influence through their operations. Hence, business organizations are also responsible to act ethically in relation to their use of the resources of the environment and to the extent that they influence it in adverse ways, such as by…...

Business Organizations
Management
A domestic organization is one that conducts all business activities within one specific nation only. Domestic organizations perform transactions and other forms of economic activity within a single nation -- the organization's home nation. A domestic business organization is the Public Broadcasting System (PBS). It is a domestically produced and broadcast in the United States. Only a fraction of content is available online. It is a heavily domestic enterprise.
International businesses perform the exchange of goods and services within more than one country, usually a group of countries. International organizations in essence, conduct their business activities among and between multiple countries. They are not restricted in the same manner as domestic businesses. An example of an international business organization is Amtrak. Amtrak is a company that provides transportation throughout the United States and Canada. It is a company that generates most of its revenue from within the United States,…...
