The secret life of Marilyn Monroe?

I'm writing a thesis paper for my book " The secret life of Marilyn Monroe" and I need help finding two themes. we have one paper due on Friday (first theme) and the second next week (second theme) I am in need of some assistance or help...

I would consider making one theme about her love life (specifically the Kennedy men) and another about her mentally ill mother and how that affected her. Both of those were strong issues that ran through her life and that are still being discussed today, well after her death.
