An essay abstract should take the most important points of the essay and tell the reader why those points are important. It should be a brief summary of what the essay contains, which in this case would be the five goals of correction. You should try to keep your abstract between 120 and 200 words, although some of them are a bit under or over this word count. Make sure you touch on each of the five major goals in your abstract, and don't leave any of them out. A sentence or two about each goal should be enough to reach 150-200 words.
