Writing about assisted living facilities can be challenging, because many of the sources that you will find online will be advertising for assisted living, rather than factual and informative pieces. An assisted living facility is a housing facility for people who cannot or choose not to live independently. They can range from facilities where there is a minimum amount of help to full-care nursing facilities. In fact, many facilities offer a range of housing options, which are adaptable as a person’s ability to live independently changes. Assisted living facilities are often thought of as places for seniors and some may even be restricted to elderly residents, but assisted facilities also exist for people with physical or mental disabilities who are unable to live independently.
