My organizational skills are excellent; I am dependable and always beat deadlines for all projects. I possess demonstrable good communication skills and can effectively collaborate with suppliers, team members and clients to get a job done well without any hitches. I have been able to smoothly handle emergency situations so I am sure I will be able to deal with any unintended crises that come up while working as a supply chain manager.

Career Objective

My career objective is securing a mid-level position in a logistics department that will allow me to utilize my experience and skills for enhancing departmental functionality, increasing efficiency and improving cost effectiveness.

Program Expectations

It is my expectation that the program will exceed employers' expectations even as the demand for experts in supply chain management rise. I expect that the tutors will have several years of experience as both tutors and as workers in the real world under procurements and logistics environments. I also expect to earn credits as I work on projects that are sponsored by organizations associated with the institution. By doing research and using innovative teaching methods, the teachers will complement the department's strengths. The department should be actively involved in promotion of collaborations between various businesses and the institution. I expect that on completing the program, I will be recruited by a company that is familiar with the students in the institution and the nature of the program we go through having contributed to its development and worked with students during various collaborative efforts. In the end, I expect to be employed as a procurement or logistics manager or a position critical to successfully managing the supply chain.
Disciplinary Concentration

I am fascinated by the possibilities in being able to play a role in solving complex problems in business and streamlining various organizations' supply chains. I am therefore excited in learning about supply chain management. I am aiming at working with business leaders and demonstrating to them how they can improve their effectiveness by employing various techniques and adopting the latest technology. I am fascinated by business logistics as an area of study and as a business discipline. I believe business logistics can be instrumental in helping businesses find economical ways to handle their supply chain and so cut costs and improve efficiency, especially with the rising complexity in business processes that might push costs up if cost variables are not effectively managed. My previous assignments have exposed me to situations that lead to unnecessary work in businesses and leading to customer dissatisfaction.
