Statement of work
Assumptions
Following assumptions are to be made for the project.
All costs include packaging costs, labor wage rates, vehicle rent and fuel rent.
The client will provide all the items that are to be relocated to the new site.
All labour costs are calculated using the formula (labour wage rate X no. Of labour hours).
All freight costs are calculated using the formula (price of fuel per litre X distance travelled by the vehicle in a litre X total distance travelled by the car).
All packaging costs are calculated using the formula (cost of material X no of wraps).
The client will not be responsible to pay for extra labour hours if the labour fails to complete the task within the stated time schedule.
All costs shown in the rate schedule are Total Costs.
Change management process
The contractor will be held responsible for any breakage, loss or damage caused to any item whatsoever, due to whatever reason.
In the event of loss or damage of any item, the contractor will be liable to pay the client the due amount of loss as compensation.
If work cannot be carried out on any given day due to unforeseen circumstances such as a public holiday or a natural disaster, work shall resume from the next closest day available to start work and will follow the same schedule and costs as stated above.
All labor wage rates are pre-determined and client will not make cost adjustments to any wage rate increases to the contractor after the signing of the contract.
