Medical and Healthcare: Comparison of Trends in Smoking Cessation
Research Proposal: Methodology
Sample/ Setting
A sample of adult smokers within my neighborhood would be selected, specifically those who have not quit smoking within six months. The sample size would be ten since the best sample size is considered when it is 10% of the entire target population (Tools 4 Dev, n.a.). There are approximately 101 adult smokers in my vicinity who have not quit smoking within the last six months.
The sample would be extracted from my neighborhood since I know many people who are smokers in my area. I am not acquainted with all of the 101 participants of the said area; I know only 14 of them. I selected 10 out of 101 smokers because I contacted the 14 known ones, described my purpose of research, and asked them if they have any other friends or neighbors in the area who are adult smokers. Therefore, the total number of adult smokers in the whole neighborhood was calculated to be 101, out of which ten were selected after calculating the best sample size. Moreover, a sample of 10 people could also have been selected from the 14 adult smokers that I already knew. Still, since I wanted to be sure that I was...

RESEARCH PROPOSAL AND BIBLIOGRAPHY Research Proposal and BibliographyPart 1: Research ProposalTopic: Exploring Additional Revenue Streams in the Movie Business: Lessons from Batman (1989)To continue being relevant in an industry that is ever becoming more competitive, studios and filmmakers must find new revenue sources. In the past, movies have mainly raked in money through ticket price revenues, streaming and TV rights, foreign sales, etc. However, it would be prudent to note
NURSING AND HEALTH Nursing and Health: Research Proposal (Smoking Cessation)Data AnalysisData Analysis Plans For Demographic VariablesThe demographic variables such as income, sex, race, income, and education would undergo a data analysis, most commonly known as univariate or bivariate analysis. Summary statistics would help analyze the demographics of the sample participants clearly and concisely. It is said that mean, median, mode, and measures of dispersion or variation support identifying the symmetry,
MEDICAL AND HEALTHCARE Medical and Healthcare: Research Proposal (Smoking Cessation)MethodologyExtraneous VariablesThe extraneous variables within the currently proposed quasi-experimental research study are age, sex, weight, mental health, or previous health conditions. The plan for controlling them would be selecting the sample participants within a certain age bracket, for example, 40-50 years old. A normal balanced weight for the mentioned age group is 176.4 pounds since the primary concern for quitting smoking
