It can be used to provide improved patient care, billing systems, management strategies, and hiring practices. The health care industry is one in which there is little room for error. The successful management of quality assurance is not something that is negotiable. The PDCA theory provides a strong check and balance system to implement practices throughout the industry by planning, trying in theory, checking success and then real life implementing. This protects the consumer, while providing the industry with opportunity to continue to evolve in its operation.
