¶ … prioritizing your work on a typical day?
Prioritizing work means coming up with a schedule that is based partly on the importance of meeting specific deadlines, but also based on the actual importance of each task and the people who requested them. Low priority items would get shifted to the bottom of my to-do list, freeing up energy and time for the more important activities. However, on some days it is helpful to tick off some of the low priority and easy tasks early.
Tell us how would you handle a disgruntled customer who is not satisfied with your job performance?
Handling disgruntled bosses or disgruntled customers requires patience, confidence, and poise. The first thing I would do would be to take a step away from the conversation if I find myself getting upset. I can return to it later with a calm and clear mind. Then, I would try to get clarity about why the person is upset. I would listen closely to what the person had to say instead of reacting, and then consider their comments and criticisms.
3.Describe how you work under pressure, deadlines, etc.?
I work very well under pressure. Pressure gives me a source of energy that I otherwise do not have because I feel highly motivated to accomplish the tasks and therefore work faster, harder, and more efficiently. Therefore, working with tight deadlines and other pressures can be good for my performance. The only kind of pressure I do not like is unnecessary pressure.
4.What do you feel is your greatest strength and greatest weakness in the workplace?
My greatest strength is my open-mindedness. I am able to see almost every issue from multiple perspectives. This allows me to understand different people and also to be a creative problem solver. I rarely consider issues or problems from one angle. I find it far more interesting and more effective to think outside the box and expand the options. My greatest weakness is my oversensitivity. Sometimes I take what other people say too seriously and believe this may be due to my need to develop more self-esteem.
5.Tell us about a time when you observed a coworker doing something inappropriate and how you handled it.
When I observed a coworker doing something inappropriate, in this case taking someone else's lunch from the refrigerator, I casually said, "Oh did she ask you to bring her lunch to her desk today? That is nice of you." The person mumbled something about not realizing whose lunch it was even though the name was printed in big letters. He put back the lunch and looked embarrassed when he walked away.
6.Tell us about a complex situation where you performed a difficult analysis and made a recommendation.
I enjoy problem solving, so when faced with a complex situation like figuring out how to balance our
