Peer Posting About Plagiarism: Reaction In the post regarding plagiarism, my peer provides insight into the dangers of plagiarism within an academic and professional setting. My peer successfully explains what plagiarism is, how it can be avoided, and the repercussions thereof. However, upon closer examination of the post, there are several issues that need to be addressed in order to make the arguments stronger and more comprehensible.

In the post, plagiarism is clearly defined and an explanation is given as to why it is important to cite resources. Additionally, it is argued that failure to cite and reference sources can lead to dissertation failure. The author of this post also provides a solution to ensure plagiarism beyond proper citations. The author admits that he or she understands the importance of citation and believes that previous experience with the Harvard method of citation will help him or her adapt to the new citation style. I believe that the author's definition of plagiarism, the explanation of how Turnitin can help prevent plagiarism, and explanation of how he or she will use OSCOLA referencing is sufficiently explained, however, in the second half of the posting, there are ambiguities that need to be addressed.
