Chester county hospital is an organization within the public sector. This organization strives to be the best place to work for any of its employees or potential employees. This organization is among Chester County's largest and most well respected employers and this success is attributed to the dedicated employees who are committed to maintaining an atmosphere of excellence. The members of staff are a representation of the development of the hospital patient satisfaction performance standards that are based on the mission, vision and values of the organization. The organization puts the needs of its patients who are their customers first. They strive to ensure that the patients get the appropriate care they need whenever they visit the hospital .The organization recognizes the importance of employees balancing their professional and personal life. Therefore the organization offers numerous opportunities for their advancement, flexible scheduling, a competitive compensation and a good benefit program. This means that the organization really values its employees and does everything to ensure that they are comfortable within the workplace (Chester County Hospital, 2014).

When it comes to the leadership the organization operates under autocratic leadership which is characterized by individual control over all decisions and only little or no input from group members. This has been seen through leaders in the organization making choices on that basis of their own judgments and ideas and they rarely accept any advice from their followers. There is an effective flow of power and information throughout the hierarchy of the organization. This ensures that it is easy for information to flow from leaders to the employees hence everything is done appropriately.

The organization has embraced a workplace that is full of different cultures and interesting people who offer an opportunity for people to learn from each other and enjoy. The organization culture of Chester County Hospital did not just start overnight it took the organization some time before they established this organization culture and have it rooted within the organization. Another thing to note is that there had to be a base for the development of their organization culture. We will explain how the organization culture came about using the organization culture theory. We will use this theory to show how it shaped the organizational culture. The organizational culture theory has become a major theoretical rallying point whereby Pacanowsky and O'Donnel we very vocal towards directing researchers attention towards understanding organizations expansively. The theoretical principles of this theory emphasize that the life of any organization is very complex and hence researches should consider not only members of the organization but also their activities, behaviors and stories. Those who came up with this theory believe that the organization's culture is rich and diverse and it is where the theory gained its momentum (Christensen, Laegreid Roness & Rovik,2009)

The main dependent constructs or factors of this theory are organizational effectiveness, performance, employee commitment and employee satisfaction. Different concepts of culture that arise from two distinct disciplines; sociology and anthropology have bee applied in the studies of organizations since 1980s. These two disciplines are what represent the different paradigms and have contributed to the emergence of different theories and frameworks of organization cultures that have been put in writing .anthropology takes an interpretivist view and vies culture as a metaphor for different organizations which defines the organizations as being cultures.
