my ability to provide the best care possible to my patients. I first plan to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and pass the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN). I then plan to complete a nursing internship in order to get "hands on" experience in my career field, find a nursing mentor who can share with me his/her career experiences, and then begin training as a nursing supervisor so that I will gain leadership knowledge. Finally, I hope to earn my Master's degree in nursing and become a highly respected and hopefully great leader in the field of nursing. With a BSN, I hope to make between $30 and $40 per hour. With a Master's in nursing, I hope to make over $100,000 per year, maybe being a critical care nurse practitioner (Nurse Practitioner Salary). Although money is not the reason I chose to make nursing my profession, it is an incentive. Care giving is a job that requires a significant amount of time, integrity, and perseverance; as so, the job should pay accordingly.
