New Testament What Is The Multiple Chapters

The purpose of the meeting according to Acts was to try and resolve the grudges and differences that were since the time in Antioch. During this meeting, the council agreed that the Gentiles who had converted to Christianity had no strict obligation to keep most of the Mosaic Laws, the circumcision of males included. They however upheld some laws that were still to be followed by all Christians like forbidding fornication, eating blood, eating meat with blood in it and idolatry.

4. James 2:14-26 and Galatians 5:1-15 what do these text teach and what are the important similarities and differences between the theological emphases of Paul and James in these two texts?

The texts talk about faith and manifestation...

The significant similarities here are that both texts agree that there must be action after faith otherwise the faith would remain dead and useless. Both texts also encourage a Christian to show the action of the faith they profess to the people living around them so that the faith is felt. They both position action above faith and depict it as more important than the faith.
They as well agree that faith should act as the foundation of the actions of a Christian. The difference is that James talks of faith and the physical manifestations alone unlike Galatians that look at the physical looks like circumcision and also the belief in Jesus that brings faith shown through love.
