Myers-Briggs is a personality inventory system that is based on Carl Jung's theory of personality types. It has been well researched and is a popular model. Personalities are classified by different categories in which there are two poles by someone can be rated between a spectrum that lies between them. For example, someone can be introverted or extroverted or somewhere in between the two poles. This measure is based off of a self-reported instrument that is non-judgmental and is strictly to help people understand different personality types in themselves and others.
Explain each of the four pairs of letters.(I and E, S and N, T and F, J and Individuals are classified as:
Extroverted or introverted (E or I).
Sensing or intuitive (S or N).
Thinking or feeling (T or F).
Perceiving or judging (P or J).
Introverted and extroversion deal with how likely a person is to engage with others. Sensing or intuitive deals with how people judge various bits of information and thinking and feeling deals with how people process this information. Perceiving and judging deal with how people come to make decisions.
