Motivation The theory of motivation has as many various meanings as there are its function and intended the desired outcome for that mater. Motivation can be defined as a psychological element that prompts an organism into deeds focused on a set target or goal. Motivation is said to be the reason driving the action, or that which attaches direction, control and behavior to behavior of an individual (Word Net (2011).

It is considered the as the aspect that prompts, directs and sustains or maintains the target/goal oriented behavior of human beings. In the study of motor response and receptors, motivation is taken as what causes an organism to act or react, be it stepping off a thorn or streaming for the river by the animals to quench their thirst.

Motivation covers a wide range of disciplines from the cognitive, social and the biological drives that initiate behavior. In the day-to-day interaction, we view what makes an individual or organism behave or do particular things in the way they do as motivators towards the goal. The reason for an action is the motivation, for instance a student may be motivated by the urge to be a doctor to read more medical books and experiment in crude surgery of things like grogs (About.com, 2011).

(i). Lessons achieved

Having gone through this test and analysis, I have scored a total of 10 out of a possible 125 points. This is quite a high score in terms of self-assessment. I have learnt that I associate myself with the idea of group relationship quite well and do well when working in a group setting.

Being that the score of 99 is equivalent to high motivation, I have also learnt that I am highly motivated group...

I as well learnt that I do give up a lot to see the group achieve the goals set, eve if it means sacrificing my extra personal time for the group.
The other fact that I came to learn about myself is that I like to associate myself with success, that is why I would give any extra thing to ensure my group achieves, I love being associated with my group since they have achieved.

(ii). Impact of the lesson in relating with other groups

The knowledge about me as described above impacts a lot on the way I interact with groups and the group members. As seen in the analysis, I often want to encourage others to put in more effort so that the group achieves. Being that I love interacting with groups, I try to inculcate trust between us so as to solidify the group more and more, as well as developing friendships that keep our work simple.

(iii). Things to change in the future

As I strive to make my group relationship and work better, have noted the areas where the groups that I will work with in the future can concentrate on to make group work more efficient. Since it seems I did not do a better job with this group than the previous group hence a score of 3, I will re-evaluate what I did in the previous groups and the results we achieved then have a comparative analysis then apply the same approach as previous to the next group then take toll of the results.

The other issue is the cohesion of the group where we scored 4 on working well together and achieving results. I will instill the motivation to all members of my future groups so w can work together with close responsibility to each other, where…
