However, there should be 2 or 3 sub-points attached to each point if the point is complex. The assignment should be in a logical sequence where a Point A leads to Point B where point B leads to Point C. The points A, B, and C joined together should lead to solutions to point D. In this section, the researcher should discuss each point at a time and clearly. In each paragraph, each point and sub-points should be discussed clearly. At the graduate or upper undergraduate level, the researcher will need between 2 and 3 paragraphs to support and develop a point. Each paragraph should contain between 3 and 5 sentences in a body of the paper, and the researcher should avoid a long sentence in a research paper. A long sentence should be broken into 2 or 3 shorter sentences, and a researcher should elaborate, explain, and support each point in the first sentence of each paragraph. More importantly, the researcher should support each point with quality sources.

However, a researcher should not raise or discuss a new point in the conclusion. It is also important to limit the conclusion to one or two paragraphs.
