There are many fears people have for the unknown. However, the confidence a leader has when facing unknown risks sets him apart. That is an aspect Richard Branson the Chief Executive Officer of the virgin group understands and takes to his advantage. He faces the risks coming his way with confidence as he drives his team towards the achievement of his company goals and objectives. For Richard Branson, there is always a positive end to every challenge faced, and that drives him courageously to face any difficulties. Richard Branson has managed setting up standards for a vast range of virgin logo. He has a vast empire, entertainment industries like Virgin records, telecommunications ventures like Virgin Mobile and airline business such as Virgin Atlantic Airways (Lambert, 2012). The major aim for Richard is self-achievement. This is a part of life; he has reached through several challenges. It, therefore, keeps him focused on seeing those close to him reaching the point of satisfaction of not only their company goals, but also their personal ambitions.

It, then, becomes a fact that Richard has reached the Level 5 Hierarchy Leadership position because of his unique leadership qualities. He is rich and established, but remains humble and charitable. He is always with the drive of venturing into new business arenas and that is why there is the option for letting the Virgin group of companies into new business ideas. In this manner, he finds a way for connecting with the community and gauging their unique aspirations both for the company and for the person's interests. In an analysis of the qualities of Level 5 Hierarchy Leadership people, Richard Branson takes a recognizable position because of his visible qualities for the position.

The possession of such qualities makes an individual capable of understanding the needs of those under him and tackling them amicably. With such qualities, a leader stays in position of directing the efforts of his team in the correct direction, while, enthusiastically maintaining their energy for the best benefits of the organizational goals and objectives. This is the kind of leader Richard Branson is, and that guides him through the challenges of seeing his company moving forward. In addition, he has unique personal traits, which help him in effectively working with others into carrying the objectives of the company.
Leadership requires a strong spirit like that of Richard Branson. This leader fears nothing and takes the daring steps a coward would shy off from facing. As a business leader, his vision carries him into daring any sort of possibility for moving his vision ahead. He is always adventurous in a manner, which leaves his dream unfulfilled since he believes there is always something new and unique lying out there waiting for exploitation. That is a great quality for a Level 5 Hierarchy Leadership status. The kind of enthusiasm Richard carries around is captivating as it shows his personal identification with the Virgin brand.

Level 5 Hierarchy Leadership requires an open mind to challenges and other people's opinions. Richard understands this and enhances it through his years of leadership at Virgin group.
