The department notified the 14 applicants of the changed criteria noting that their passing status may change. After the new evaluation a number of applicants didnt pass and as a result are suing the police academy

The plaintiffs were allowed to the participate in the original 60th academy as oppose to the 61ST in which they were rejected.
