For instance, in the circumstance above there are some actions that happen before the setback. First, Jasmine parents are very strict basically forcing her to accept strict religious rules thus becoming very uncomfortable (Murdock, 2008). Also, Jasmine seems to go along with her father strict rules and seems to see everything in black and white thus making her feel as though her mother does not accept her. Jasmine begins not to like her parents because they really do not permit her to make independent decisions that are independent. Another behavior is that Danita is forced to move to America to stay with her parents. She does not agree with her parents strict rules and how they convince her. This really makes her more upset as she believes that her mother is not allowing her to make decisions of her own. The relationship also causes Jasmine to acquire thoughts that are maladaptive. She believes that nobody can manage to stay in a relationship with her (Murdock, 2008).

Goals for Counseling
To help Jasmine conquer the issues above, it is vital to determine involvements that will assist in solving the issues. Furthermore, counseling goals will assist in overcoming the issues from above. One can determine the apprehensions above by assisting the client in helping them to learn behaviors that are new. For instance, Jasmine will need to learn how to work with other people in the working organization. It is also necessary that she should also discover how to connect with other people. Furthermore, the environmental circumstances should be changed so as to help Jasmine adapt to the situations that she is in. Substituting irrational thinking with thoughts that are rational can help Jasmine live a life that is happy (Murdock, 2008).
Jasmine has irrational beliefs or thoughts. Jasmine believes that other people in her life are being meddlesome with her control and independence (Murdock, 2008). For instance, in the case Jasmine dislikes her father because she believes that his ways are so strict that it caused her to get in relationships with men that were not good thus losing her independence and control... Replacing thoughts that are irrational with rational thoughts can help Jasmine to overcome the issues (Berman, 2009). Jasmine will learn to think encouragingly and evade thoughts that are undesirable.
There are many different interventions that can be used to decide the issues that are above.
Modeling. This can be utilized to determine the issue beyond (Murdock, 2008). A counsel or any other individual can establish a conduct and the customer can learn by watching. Jasmine needs to be trained how to observe other individuals complete some actions so as to alter new actions.
Jasmine can be trained on how to familiarize new behaviors by imitating other persons. Another intervention is
Behavioral rehearsal. Under behavioral preparation customer is taught how to change behaviors that are health. The client will need to be able to act out the behavior they can recognize and learn them. Then after that part is over with the client should then be able to improve it as abilities...
