Implementing A Change Process In An Organization Essay

Organizational Change Behavior: Using Cloud Change situation

Convincing people to use cloud

Perhaps one of the recent developments in the world of technology is the use of cloud computing as opposed to the older traditional approaches to storage and maintenance of data and information. One individual organization I have once worked for is the Brandon Organization Inc. Brandon Organization is a global mover in trading and financing most of the business organizations regarding financial facilitation, saving, credit, and other services that occur between different groups of such kind. In the past, Brandon Organization has had challenges with how it manages its large pieces of information that must be put together, integrated, and safely stored for further references. Brandon braces itself for acting as in intermediary in the delivery of services between different financial organizations, preferably enabling a smooth integration and workmanship between the various commercial groups.

One significant aspect that thrills with this organization is the frequent influx of groups seeking services, leading to unmanageable handling and storage of data, most of which is rendered at risk. For instance, Brandon uses hard drives in different personal laptops or computers to store and save different files. When transporting such information, one needs to save them on thumb drive or CD. This is always cumbersome. Brando largely depends on software installations that are costly on different personal computers to access the various benefits affixed in the different applications. More often, Brandon Organization has been forced to abandon various projects to save money to buy expensive hardware for use in creating a backup for large files. The organization keeps most of its data, including photos, on personal computers.

Brandon Organization has often been forced by circumstances to purchase and keep personal computers, including laptops, for different organizations. These organizations have frequently changing data, which forces the company to update the data manually using different personal computers assigned to each organization, and managed by various personalized individuals. Sometimes one would wonder the possibility of having one central position where such large junks of data can be stored and administered by a single person without having to have different people handling the same thing. More often, customers make direct calls to the organization when they are inquiring about various services. More often, they are forced to wait for hours on the phone with various technicians in the case that one or more of desktops for the computers are not working.

In general, a different situation is often seen at Brandon Organization. The technical part of handling the various data and delivering services to different people has become a major challenge for the employees and the organization. A lot needs to be done to ease the pressure the group is facing. One significant happening that has become a concern, with the organization handling and delivering different data to various organizations is the challenge of delay. Brandon Organization has been branded as one of the organizations where clients have to make early reservations when seeking a service lest they incur losses resulting from delays. Employees complain of large pieces of work that need to be accomplished. They get tired and often deliver mediocre services in a bid to serve as many customers as they can. They are always complaining of the stringent measures that have been adopted to enable them to deliver services, not considering the low level of expertise and technology that has been embraced by the organization. Thus, the body needs a quick look into better avenues of managing its data to ease delivery of services to the people.

The implications of the much stressing work within Brandon Organization are getting back to haunt the state of the provision of services in the organization. Brandon Organization knows that it has to operate at different wavelengths to meet the varying demands of its customers in the market. The connections and interrelations of these clients with the organization is not that best and hence deserves much attention and protection by the society itself. Primarily, the organizational employees are feeling the hit of having to work in situations and environments that can be improved. The systems are tiring, with much attention, energy, and finances being wasted in trying to meet the rising demands from the governmental planning department. A general feeling of tiredness, disillusionment, and boredom from the support staff regarding the nature of the working systems is evident. Many of the workers are working hard to stay on course and ensure a smooth delivery...

Nonetheless, their tireless efforts are bearing little fruits, with many prospect deliveries considering the amount of efforts that they are thrashing into the current systems.
Brandon Organization prefers to work with different employees, most of whom are computer users. The primary services that are being delivered at the organization require an immediate intervention of computers. Thus, Brandon Organization is a computer-based organization that delivers or prepares most of its deliveries to the clients with the use of computers. Computers serve as the best avenues of ensuring that everything has been done by the programs that are there. Nonetheless, stress in handling machines and making use of them without having to consider the best ways through which these networks can deliver, perhaps incorporating the best avenues of technology is evident. It is possible for Brandon Organization to venture into better avenues of making use of the computers. Several software technologies are available today and can be used to deliver best services to best channels, with efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.

The management at the Brandon Organization is relying on old methods of production. A lot needs to be done to ensure an equitable delivery of services to the people, considering the urgency and quality deliveries that have to be made to the many clients in the market. The management at Brandon Organization knows that it has to seek the services of cloud computing as a way of seeking to better its avenues of making deliveries to its clients. The employees are using traditional approaches to delivering important services to the organization. It would be better to adopt the new software materials that work well with computers, and hence deliver the best services to the clients in the market. Having integrated systems that will enable Brandon Organization to integrate its avenues of delivering services would be a better move as at now. For instance, using the current cloud computing systems will enable the organization to have an integrated way of managing its systems, have an improved avenue of service delivery and manage most of its procedures and activities in a better, simplified, and manageable way. Moreover, Brandon Organization is a global brand; most of its services need to be globalized. Making use of the cloud computing seems a rather better avenue that will ease access, usability, and interaction with the different integrated systems offered by the organization. One major challenge that will stand in the way of managing these avenues will be the pressure that will come with an increased access to the organization by the global clients. Nonetheless, with cloud computing, it is possible to have a structured manner in which the services will be delivered together with proper storage and management that will enable the employees to have an easy time. The delivery of the services will be done, all via the created cloud (Franklin 45).

How to make the change: Using the full Switch framework

Directing the Rider

The rider in this scenario is Brandon Organization. The organization is in the process or making a change from making use of the old traditional computer software systems to making use of the cloud computing systems (Franklin 6). The sorted need here is to direct the organization towards making the best of the deliveries, and hence, increase its revenue and quality of services delivered. The organization needs to be driven to better avenues of delivering its services to the clients. One major change and happening that will have to be put under consideration is the aspect of the need for the Brandon Organization to move to better or change its production avenues in the market. Much of the channels of production need to be kept under check. The needs analysis will be conducted, and hence will reveal the inherent situations that will facilitate the change needed within the organization. One major aspect is for the organization to appreciate the need for change, inculcate change, and proceed with the change that comes with new strategies and avenues of production. Furthermore, the rider, which is the Brandon Organization, has an obligation to facilitate the needed change, and hence strike enough measures and environmental facilitation to enable the success of the strategy in place.

Finding the bright spots

Several bright spots regarding the intended change are noticeable within the Brandon Organization. Production and growth are all about the use of the most competitive, updated, and effective avenues of production in the market. Brandon Organization has not put in place equitable measures to cater for this trend. Cloud computing is a…
