The most important thing to prevent danger is to read the manual that comes with all the components. This will give direction on how to attach the components on the motherboard correctly. Ensuring that you have not plugged something into the wrong slot is vital to ensure that nothing goes wrong during the build. One should work in a clean space to ensure that no foreign materials get into the case. Static electricity is bad. A single static spark has the potential to damage the circuitry of the motherboard and this would render it unusable.
