Governance Information Management Is Similar To Information Essay

¶ … Governance Information management is similar to information technology and this term is usually used as a synonym of information technology. In this modern era, information technology is an essential part of almost every organization due to vast competition and globalization. On one hand information, technology provides a number of benefits to the organizations but, on the other hand, it has been commonly observed that a sudden failure in information technology results in heavy losses. In order to avoid the failures in technology, organizations should take this step to train the employees by the technical experts. Many organizations provide short-term training but to let the employees deeply understand about the technology, long -- term training should be provided (Weill & Ross, 2005).
