Faith Of Universal Structure Is Research Paper

This extends to environmental concerns as well, because scientific research has demonstrated that the diversity of an ecosystem is what allows the constituent parts of that ecosystem to thrive, with the diversity of genetics, organisms, and personalities giving any given ecosystem a robustness such that it is not as susceptible to destruction or eradication at the hands of a single negative element. Adherents of the Faith seek harmony with all things, such that one goal is the advancement of technology to the point that humans might be able to genetically and technologically alter themselves such that they may sustain their own lives without causing undue harm to other lives, whether those be the lives of animals or plants. Thus, adherents of the Faith look towards the day when humanity has used the ample intellectual and scientific skill amassed over the years to overcome the current limitations of biology so that humanity may live in perfect equilibrium with its surroundings. With this in mind, it should be clear that belief in the Faith can take many forms, and may be as explicit or implicit as any individual believer desires. The most dedicated believers will of course work to spread the Faith to others, encouraging them with the sense of purpose born out of the Search, but commitment to the Faith can be expressed by something as simple as supporting scientific research, such as allowing one's computer or videogame console to be used in a distributed computing project. In fact, any activity which supports scientific advancement and research can be regarded as practicing the Faith, so long as that activity does not harm the vitality and diversity of the Universe. (For example, scientific research predicated on the experimentation on animals would be shunned, but experimentation on willing human subjects would be celebrated, even if it goes against commonly held notions regarding the sanctity of the human body, i.e. genetic experimentation and technological/cyborg-like...

Bearing this in mind, the Faith has no formal hierarchy, instead acknowledging that every individual is equipped to advance the goals of the Faith in their own way, although those engaging in scientific or humanitarian efforts are seen to be best embodying the ideals of the Faith, with those working strictly towards short-term gratification or gain regarded as embodying less than ideal characteristics.
The proselytizing believer does not necessarily seek to convert adherents of other faiths, but rather encourages them to interpret their own faiths in light of the interconnectedness and Structure of the Universe. Thus, one might imagine Christian and Muslim believers in the Faith of Universal Structure as finding their personal, specific inspiration from their respective holy texts, with an understanding that those texts are merely imperfect, microcosmic representations of the Ultimate Text which is the Structure of the Universe. In this way, even an atheist might consider his or her self as a member of the Faith of Universal Structure, because belief in the Faith does not actually require belief in anything beyond the observable realities of existence except for the idea of the perfect galaxy, something which is actually not that far-fetched considering the amazing and always-surprising natural phenomena of the Universe.

From the perspective of a believer, the Faith represents something of a formalization of the deism discussed by the likes of Einstein, with the transcendent found in the wondrous and inspiring realities of existence, but from the perspective of an outsider, the Faith would likely be regarded as a "spiritualized" form of secular humanism that extends its notions of ethics and justice to species well beyond homo sapiens and retains a specific, transcendent goal (the ideal galaxy), whereas humanism tends toward more ephemeral notions of the most good for the most people.

The diameters of these clusters range from about 75 light years to as much as 400 light years and can be as far as 300,000 light years from the Earth. In many parts of the Milky Way galaxy, there exist dense concentrations of interstellar matter known as nebula and are generally classified as emission nebula, reflection nebula or dark nebula. Emission nebula are by far the most exotic, for they

Milky Way Galaxy Is of Particular Interest
Words: 609 Length: 2 Document Type: Research Paper

Milky Way Galaxy is of particular interest to the planet Earth, and the people that reside there, because the planet is one of, possibly, billions contained within it. The term galaxy is used when a large group of stars, generally a billion or more, have clustered together due to a similar attraction to some gravitational attraction. The Milky Way Galaxy is actually a conglomeration of others such as the Canis

There must be an invisible force that is acting on those galaxies. These two features make the accelerating universe the most probable explanation amongst its competitors (Riess 2012). There are also Marias and mountains. Marias is a dark hole like features of the moon and

The Age of the Universe and the Milky Way

The age of the universe A good way of estimating the age of the universe is dating the oldest objects in the Milky Way Galaxy. Being that the age of the universe varies directly with the Hubble constant, the cosmological constant and the average density of the universe, the direct estimate of the age of the universe can be used to define cosmological models. The metal-poor stars found within the spherical

This contributed to the formation of the planets and asteroids. ("Summary," 2007) (Williams, 2010) Once a star is finished developing, is when solar winds will blow rock and debris away from the sun. This forms the Kuiper Belt and Oort Clouds,

Electromagnetic waves are energy waves produced by the oscillation or acceleration of an electric charge. They include radio waves, microwaves, infrared light, visible light, ultraviolet light, x-rays, and gamma rays. Their wavelengths in meters are: radio waves (0.1 to 1000), microwaves (1 x 10-3 ~ 1 x 10-1); infrared (7 x 10-7 ~1 x 10-3); visible light (4 x 10-7 ~ 7 x 10-7); ultraviolet rays (1 x 10-8 ~
