The Superiority of Electric Vehicles Over Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles
Introduction
Due to the popularity of Tesla and other electric car makers in recent years, the debate between electric vehicles (EVs) and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles has grown steadily louder. Some supporters of ICE cars dismiss the EVs as novelties that lack a tried-and-true track record. However, this paper focuses on showing the advantages of EVs over their ICE counterparts, by relying upon academic and popular sources for information that will support the argument.
Environmental Benefits
One of the most compelling and important arguments for EVs is their environmental friendliness. According to Jason Garbutt of HotCars, "EVs have zero tailpipe emissions" (Garbutt). This is a considerable advantage when one thinks about the detrimental impact of exhaust emissions from ICE vehicles on air quality and climate change. If EVs can eliminate that pollution, then that is a big point in their favor. Based upon what Garbutt says, the absence of tailpipe emissions in EVs directly contributes to a reduction in air pollution, and this can be taken as a majorly important factor in urban areas where vehicular emissions are a primary pollution source. If one looks at some of the most polluted cities in the world, one sees nothing but smog emanating from endless tailpipes as far as the eye can see. But if EVs are on the road instead, all of that smog is as good as gone.
Coming from an academic point of view are Albatayneh et al., who note that the environmental benefits of EVs are further supported by the research. Their study published in the journal Environmental and Climate Technologies shows that " powering the electric cars from renewable energy sources will significantly improve the overall system efficiency" (Albatayneh...
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Integration
EVs are not only environmentally friendly but also more energy-efficient. Garbutt of HotCars notes, "running costs per mile, EVs are better" (Garbutt). The way this is explained is that ICE...
In conclusion, the advantages of electric vehicles over internal combustion engine vehicles are clear for anyone to see who is not biased by an attachment to the ICE design. Plus, the benefits are numerous: from environmental benefits to energy efficiency, and from the integration with renewable energy to reduced operating costs, EVs make a very compelling case for being the superior choice. As the world moves towards a cleaner and more sustainable future, the transition to electric vehicles will become faster and more total in time. That is where the debate between EVs and ICE cars must inevitably end.

The Issue of the EV: Is it Really Green and Good? Do Teslas Make the World a Better Place Introduction The electric vehicle (EV) has arrived and the 21st century is poised to be the century of the EV. However, there is still a great deal of controversy and confusion about what EVs actually do for the environment and if they are really as “green” as they are purported to be. Chad Berndt,

After a brief introduction, I will proceed to discuss in detail an analysis on the current situation at ZAP and in the industry. I will be including here a SWOT analysis, a competition analysis based on Porter's five forces model and an extensive analysis of the external environment,
Comparing Climate Change Mitigation Strategies for Global WarmingEven diehard climate change deniers are forced to concede the reality of global warming today, and many members of the scientific community cautions that the tipping point towards unpreventable climate change has already been reached and crossed. Nevertheless, efforts are underway on numerous fronts to identify effective mitigation strategies to address global warming to prevent a worst-case scenario from developing in the near
Nikola What deal has Nikola made with GM to build electric trucks? Nikola and GM's deal allows GM to work with Nikola (an electric-truck startup) to develop and manufacture new models. GM, an experienced and already established traditional automaker, will provide electric batteries and fuel cells for Nikola's trucks, including the future planned Badger pickup truck. According to the deal, GM will receive a $2 billion worth of stock and a seat
