Evacuation Of A Residential Nursing Term Paper

If this move does occur for the displaced resident, then the family, the resident and all of the resident's nurses, doctors, and other staff will be informed of the move. The move will only be temporary as the room is remodeled. It is not anticipated that any resident who leaves this facility will be away more than six months. This is just a temporary evacuation plan that will be initiated as the facility is being repaired over the next few weeks. If a family wishes to remove their loved from the facility to go home during the remodel, they must obtain permission from nursing home administrator. This is a possible option for the resident, however, changes or adjustment in the monthly fees will not apply.

In the future, all rooms within this facility...

Period drills will talk place within the facility every four to six months. These can be announced or unannounced.
In addition to clear, visible evacuation posted in each room, each teacher will also have first aid kit that has a mask, gloves, band aids, antibiotic ointment, bandages, gauzes, and all other first aid supplies. This first aid kit is to remain behind the nurse's station at all time.

Each employee will be trained in evacuation procedure and know-how. Knowing what to do in case of an emergency can mean the matter of life and death for the nursing home resident.
