The labor market throughout the country is constantly changing. It is interesting to look at Florida's economic and employment history, as well as the trends and changes in its job market.
Changing Economy
Florida's economy has "greatly expanded and diversified since the early 20th century, when it was dominated by farming. The United States government has been a leading employer with instillations such as the "John F. Miami's location has been beneficial to Florida's economy as it continues to grow into an "international financial center for the Caribbean region (www.k2mall.com/2/florida/fl/fl3.html)." The influx of retirees has also provided a positive economic impact on the state.
