Professional Development Plan Developing a professional development plan is very crucial to my professional goals. My professional development plan presents my attitudes, skills and behaviors towards achieving my professional career. The objective of this assignment is to develop my professional development plan related to my choice course and personal goals.

Professional and Education Background

My name is Judith Ngulefac and I reside in Parkway, Atlanta. I completed my high school diploma at Saint Augustine's College in Cameroon and my core subjects were Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I proceeded with my education in the State School of Nursing in Cameroon where I had 3-year of intensive education in practical and clinical nursing. Afterwards, I proceeded with my education and completed my first degree program at Grand Canyon University at Arizona. The program consisted of a 14-Month RN --BSN track program and I finished the program with a GPA of 3.8.

My accumulated professional experience will assist to achieve my professional goal. I am a registered nurse in the state of Georgia, and I have more than 8 years of working experience delivering high quality healthcare to patients in different hospitals and professional settings. My focus is in intensive care, rapid response and critical care. Before starting my graduate program in nursing, I had worked in different clinical settings assisting patients to receive high quality healthcare.

My job responsibilities are to provide care in accordance with physician's order. I am also currently working at Emory University Hospital as a registered nurse providing healthcare service to patients. My job responsibilities are also to maintain accurate medical records and reports. Between 2007 and 2013, I had also worked as a registered nurse at Kindred Hospital Atlanta maintaining accuracy of medical report. My job responsibility is also to communicate with patients with reference to maintaining disease prevention. Between 2005 and 2007, I had worked at Greater South East Hospital in Washington D.C as a registered nurse with a responsibility of managing insulin level for diabetic patients.
Professional Goals

Presently, I am graduate nursing student at Walden's graduate school of nursing intending to specialize Adult Gerontology. Following a completion of my graduate program, I envisage to be part of a multi-disciplinary team in either hospital-based primary clinical care or a specialist clinic in public health departments, managed health centers, and state correctional facilities. With accumulated nursing educational knowledge gained from Walden University, Graduate school, I should be able to manage adult health as well as common acute and chronic illnesses.
