Community Involvement Program And Partnership Essay

Timeline, Responsibilities, and Evaluation

The current situation at North Miami Beach Senior High School involves less academic progress, which continues to affect student achievement. (Great Schools, 2021). As a result, the school needs to redesign its current community involvement program to help address this issue. The proposed program is an improvement of the current PTSA NMB initiative, which has continued to play an important role in improving student achievement at the school. The vision of the proposed partnership is to enhance students year-over-year academic achievement and college readiness. However, the achievement of this vision requires establishing timelines, determining responsibilities, and creating measures for evaluation.

Part 1 Timeline and Responsibilities

As previously indicated, the proposed partnership seeks to improve year-over-year academic achievement and college readiness of students at the school through better collaboration with the larger community. The implementation of the proposed partnership requires establishing timelines for different activities and for the involvement of various stakeholders.

Proposed Partnership

Generally, every community and situation varies and incorporates different variables that should be taken into consideration. The establishment of realistic timelines for specific activities is essential because it helps promote the involvement of specific partners in specific contexts with ease (Educational Quality Improvement Program, 2011). Therefore, the establishment of timelines makes it easy for the various stakeholders to get engaged in a timely, effective manner. A timeline for the proposed partnership also helps to minimize disruptions in the student learning process and provides a means for the realization of time-bound goals. The establishment of realistic timelines entails defining and designating responsibilities. Defining and designating responsibilities to individuals helps to create a sense of ownership and accountability for the various programs. It helps to determine how the various activities or tasks in the community engagement program will be shared among the stakeholders.

Upon completion of the tasks on the timeline, this community partnership program is expected to make significant contributions in enhancing student achievement at North Miami Beach Senior High School. The program is expected to create a school culture where different community members and professionals are involved in student learning to enhance achievement and college readiness. It is expected to create a...

…of the project will be compared to its previous rankings within the first year of implementation. Data obtained from these sources will help determine the programs contribution toward student academic progress, achievement, and college readiness. In addition to determining the impact of the partnership, data generated from the evaluation process will be used to make necessary adjustments to improve the overall effectiveness of the program in the future and sustain the partnership (University College London, 2019).

In conclusion, the implementation of an improved community engagement program is critical toward improving the academic progress, achievement, and college readiness of the students. This process involves creating timelines, designating responsibilities, and establishing a process of evaluation. These steps are critical toward promoting the overall effectiveness of the program in achieving the desired goals. The steps help to create a sense of ownership and accountability among stakeholders as they are assigned different tasks to accomplish within a specific period of time. In addition, these steps in the implementation process will help ensure all activities are carried out in a timely manner. The evaluation process is essential…
