Learning Process Early childhood development

The early years of a child's life are the most important years since it is at this stage that the motor development takes place the basic skills are acquired. It is also a tricky stage for the parents to take care of the child and successfully see the child develop to the higher levels where they are dependent on self and can reason out their surrounding effectively. The young children that I serve are my best friends throughout the time that I am with them and among them. This is because my philosophy of care for young children and providing conditions necessary for their development is hinged on the empathy and close proximity with the children in order to fully understand their needs, this will also allow me to reduce myself to their levels hence share their challenges and pain and in particular, those who may be having some disabilities will feel part of the family and hence be able to concentrate on their development and studies more than their disabilities. The ultimate goal is that the children need to have a safe environment, a healthy environment to develop in and get high quality care.

Bearing the nature of the children, there will be need to ensure frequent communication with the parents on the progress, state and the challenges of the children It will also be significant to look at the areas that the child can do best in and communicate such to the parents so that there is an assisted learning around the child at all times even while at home. There will also be use of the families that are in the community and whose children are in the program to spread the word about the need for an early intervention among the young children with special needs and the effectiveness of the same. There will be need to have the family take the child to professionals who provide services such as a therapist.
The vision for an ideal early childhood learning environment would take care of some pertinent issues that have to do with the child. First, it would be prudent to understand each child at individual level over and above the medical diagnosis since each child is unique hence needs unique understanding before having the individualized care plan drawn out. There will also be need to have the family give their take and view of the child since this will help the caretakers understand further the child hence able to provide the best care possible.
