My goal is to continuously work as hard and honest as I can to achieve my additional long-term goal, which is to climb the corporate ladder. Opportunities will arise where I have to prove myself and push to the next level, and I am prepared to do this. I have selected this goal because it fits my personality, my ambition, my interests, and is the career that I want in the business world. I am applying these goals to a career in the home-health field. This class has prepared me for different levels of the professional world that I was not previously acknowledging.Goal Theory Components of goal theory and its benefits in the workplace The goal theory suggests that by allowing employees to set goals, they can be influenced to work harder to meet these goals by motivating them.
