Adventure Travel Log Taking a trip from North America to South America can be one of the most life changing events that anyone could ever experience. It is common for most people to take their surroundings for granted and be comfortable in their own local environments. However, when you travel you gain a new perspective on life and how different people around the world chose to live theirs. In this brief article I intend to share a few experiences I had when traveling down the west coast of the Americas. I traveled all the way from Canada in the Northern Hemisphere down to Cape Horn. The journey was made by a variety of transportation methods; by bus, taxi, car, bike, motorcycle, and even by foot on several occasions.

When the fall takes its toll and the vegetation begins to fade to yellows and oranges then this can create some of the most beautiful settings that you can experience. This experience is heightened by the fact that Pacific Ocean provides high levels of humidity and the fog produced by the high humidity can create surreal settings; like in a movie or something.
This experience was pretty common all the way down the Northwest coast of the United States and the views from the bus were fantastic. The scenery did not change much until we reached California which had a much different feel altogether. Although many parts of California were quite beautiful, there was also so many people that it often felt crowded. The bus encountered stop and go traffic so many times that it became irritating. There was also bad smells from pollution in some parts.
